Bandelier National Monument

More Honeymoon pictures! We had a lot going on that week, so I've still got a lot to share. Right after we went to the Whiterock Overlook, we took a shuttle up to Bandelier National Monument. These are those awesome cave dwellings that you see in text books and never think you'll actually visit. These homes are just incredible. Just sitting in these small spaces and looking out at a view that people actually called home is breath-taking.

Here...have some photos!

This is the room where they would do their weaving! The wood is new, but the holes in the floor are original. See Andy for scale.

The long house. It the holes actually show that it was 2 or 3 floors tall.

I feel so lucky that I got to experience this place. It was such a special visit for us!
